Recreational activities abound in Silverdale and the surrounding area. No matter what your interests are you will find a resource for it in Kitsap or nearby.

Golfers will find no less than 12 courses within close distance of Silverdale, including the championship courses at Kitsap Golf and Country Club,  McCormick Woods and Alderbrook.

If a day of fishing does the trick you'll find year round fresh and salt water fishing. Puget Sound offers a great opportunity for kayaking, scuba diving, sailing and power boating. Hunting season provides opportunity for deer, elk, bear and wild fowl.

C.K. Babe Ruth BaseballParks abound in waterfront, wooded and mountain locations. A world-class ice rink opened recently affording opportunities for ice-hockey, figure skating and recreational skating as well. Opportunities abound for soccer, Little League, softball and Pee Wee football enthusiasts. Equestrian facilities can be found throughout the county and there is a riding club and arena facility located in Central Kitsap.

Pacific Coast beaches are a 2.5 hour drive to the west and skiing/snowboarding opportunities abound to the east within a 1 to 3 hour drive.

Silverdale boasts nearly 5 miles of community developed pedestrian walking/nature trails with educational interpretive signs, as well as the Clear Creek/Saq'ad Interpretive Center.

Silverdale and Kitsap is family-friendly in environment and opportunities for recreation are limitless!
