| Undersea Museum - Family Day Family Day - The First Saturday of each month. Families with children pre-school to age 12 are invited to Family Day the first Saturday of each month. Each Family Day will include an experiment or make-and-take project, a story and song time, and a tour of the galleries. The fun begins at 10am and ends with the tour about 12:00pm. | Ribbon Cutting: Catie's Creations The Silverdale Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the Grand Opening of Catie's Creations' storefront at 3541 NW Carlton St in Old Town Silverdale on February 23rd, 2012. Catie's Creations will be hosting an Open House from 9:00am until 7:00pm with refreshments available all day long. The ribbon will be cut at 4:00pm.
Catie’s Creations is located in Kitsap County, Washington and has been in business since 1999 and continues to grow each year. Screen printing and promotional products were added in 2007, and sublimation was added in 2008. In early spring of 2009 they were excited to add both vinyl and direct to garment printing. If you are looking for 1 or 10,000 “things to put my logo on,” they are here to assist. At Catie’s Creations, they put what you want on what you want.

| General Membership Luncheon Baymont Inn & Suites This month, our guest speakers, Brent Stenman and Russ Barker, will be speaking about the 2012 Babe Ruth World Series which will be coming to Kitsap County from August 14-22, 2012. The World Series is a national championship baseball tournament that includes 10 championship teams from across the U.S. One of those teams will be a Host team and it will include players from our local community. The stature of this event generally assures that baseball fans will travel to attend the games. Many of those guests will be staying here in the local community for extended stays.
Both Brent and Russ are residents of North Kitsap and have been long time volunteers at North Kitsap Babe Ruth in Poulsbo. For the past three years, both have been working on the effort to bring a World Series to Kitsap County. When we are not volunteering for youth baseball, Brent is a Vice President at Umpqua Bank and Russ works as a criminal investigator with the U.S. Coast Guard.
