The Silverdale Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to serving the needs of its members and the community as a whole. In answer to this, the Board of Directors has developed a Strategic Plan based on the input of our members. We have tracked our progress with this plan throughout the year. Each year we will review and revise the Strategic Plan to continue to meet the needs of our members. The most current update is found below.
GOAL 1 - PROMOTE THE ECONOMIC VITALITY OF SILVERDALE/CENTRAL KITSAP
- Assessing the needs of business
- Being an information source for members and non-members
- Representing business interests
- Promoting and supporting buying local
- Exploring options for enhancing economic vitality
- Conducting Economic Vitality Conference
- Informing and educating members on issues with potential economic impact
GOAL 2 - STRENGTHEN CHAMBER LONG TERM FINANCIAL POSITION TO.
- Act as a quality business
- Increase the strength of our membership to act as a stronger voice
- Support Chamber activities aimed at promoting, educating and informing members
- Maximize communication with members
- Promote tourism
- Support the local economy
GOAL 3 - ENHANCE MEMBERSHIP SERVICES, RECOGNITION AND EDUCATION
Promoting member businesses:
- To the military
- To relocating families
- Through showcasing opportunities
- Serving as a resource for business information and continuing education for employees
- Developing Chamber sponsored initiatives beneficial to the business community
- Educating members on issues affecting their businesses
- Providing additional opportunities for recognition of members who volunteer and support Chamber activities
- Recognizing community members (both members and non-members) who have contributed to the economic vitality of our area - Accolades Awards Gala and Installation
