Education Committee Annual Carnival - June 27, 2012
Remember last year how much fun we had at the July Carnival? This year we will hold the event in June! We had a blast raising money for the Education Committee CTE Scholarship. This is our annual fundraiser for the Education Committee and a chance to just come out and have some fun. It's that time again!! It's happening on June 27, 2012 from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Silverdale Beach Hotel on the Patio, weather permitting.
The purpose of the Silverdale Chamber of Commerce Future Business Leader Scholarship for students in Career and Technical Education shall provide student(s) who have excelled in the area of Career and Technical Education a monetary award to be used in pursuit of their continuing career and technical education goals. Babe Ruth World Series - August 15-22, 2012
In August, the Babe Ruth World Series is coming to Silverdale! We would like to welcome the players with a gift bag like this one:
Along with the Bat Bag itself is a bat, a ball (which we are working on getting signed by a Seattle Mariner), a jersey and a helmet. There are 150 of these bags and we are getting them for the wholesale price of $150 each. We are looking for businesses to sponsor the bags so the players can have something to remember Kitsap by.
Sponsors get their name on the back of the jersey, announced at the World Series and the opportunity to put coupons in the bag! If you would like to sponsor one of these bags, please contact us here at the Chamber Office.
Extreme K Mud Run
On October 6th, 2012, the Silverdale Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Extreme K Mud Run! Registrations will be opening up later this month!
